Interesting video by Dan Gilbert: Why are we happy? Why aren't we happy?

This video gave me some insight into an area of the brain called the prefrontal cortex which is our experience simulator. I had heard Dr. Alex Loyd from the Healing Codes also speak of this area on a conference call as well a our psychological immune system which this video also highlights. Hope you learn a little something as I did...enjoy!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Just wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a Happy Memorial Day Weekend! It has a special place in my heart (no pun intended...lol) and I am grateful to those service members who are serving our country as well as those who have served. So very Thankful for the Freedom we enjoy!

On a more personal side, I proudly served in the USAF in my younger years. I have fond memories of this chapter in my life and respect the sacrifices our troops give each day to allow us to continue in this Freedom.

So be sure to remember the real meaning of this special holiday. Enjoy the time with your loved ones and stay safe! May God Bless America!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend!

Just wanted to say "Happy Mother's Day!" Whether you are a mother, grandmother, mother-in-law or you have a wife, sister, daughter who is a mother this day can be a wonderful celebration for us all. I have enjoyed my motherhood. It has been a wonderful journey for 31 years now. If am totally honest I have to say there has been some bumps along the way but, wouldn't trade this honor for nothing. So take the time to reflect on the Mother's in your life and how special they really are.
Enjoy your Mother's Day!

Happy Easter Weekend!

The Butterfly is one of the significant symbols of Easter. Its whole life cycle is meant to symbolize the life of Jesus Christ. The first stage, is the caterpillar, which stands for His life on Earth. Second phase begins from the cocoon stage, portraying the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. The third and final stage is the butterfly, representing His raising from the dead in a glorified body and peace.
